DOP[1] Queso CasÃn is the regulatory body for the CasÃn cheese. The official name of the group is Consejo Regulador de la DOP Queso CasÃn.
Inaugurated on April 7, 2008 by recognition of the EU, it began certifying cheese makers in 2011.
