Ultramarinos

These days, an ultramarinos is probably one of either a small corner grocery store, or a bar-tienda. But, as the name implies, it used to be something quite different.[1]
The modern version of an ultramarinos is most commonly a small general food store. They sell legumes, flour, oils, sugar, coffee, chocolates, spices, soft drinks, wine, liquor, and perhaps fruits, vegetables, sausages, and cheeses.
Previously, an ultramarinos would have dealt exclusively with goods brought back to Spain from overseas - from the colonies and possessions in the Americas and elsewhere. Cocoa, cane sugar, coffee, spices, etc...
