Tucked away in a little visited corner of Asturias, Coaña boasts some of the best seafood in the whole of Spain. From Empanada de Berberechos, to Merluza con Patatines, inventive seafood dishes quite different from the rest of the coast star. The local cheese, Queso Abredo, is an excellent foil to sweet Dulce de Manzana, and in addition to the famous Arroz con Leche, Coaña offers the singular Tarta Venera.
