Cargo
From Eating Asturias, the Encyclopedia of Asturian Gastronomy
Cargo is an extension to MediaWiki that provides a lightweight way to store and query the data contained within the calls to templates, such as infoboxes. It is similar in concept to the Semantic MediaWiki extension, but offers a number of advantages, including ease of installation and ease of use.
Status
Installed and being implemented as a wholesale replacement for Semantic MediaWiki on Eating Asturias. Based on the compatibility list on Cargo and Semantic MediaWiki, 100% of my installed uses of SMW can be converted to Cargo.
Essentially anywhere there is data I would ever want to loop over and list out (even just pages in a category) I am going to create Cargo tables to store information about those items.
